R.I.P. Funnel Cake

Carmel, Indiana. 2013.

I was riding my bike past this scene and I knew I HAD to stop and photograph it. It's a very geometric image with the circles of the plate and funnel cake set against the grid of the pavers.

I also like the directionality of the image. It has a motion to it even though it's static. And the powdered sugar reminds me of the "splatter pattern" often discussed on TV shows like CSI.
