Key West Beach Scene
Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park. Key West, Florida. 2018.
When it feels like a good fit, I try to layer my photos with as much information as I can provide in an aesthetically-pleasing way. The main focus here is the rock outcropping, something unique to this part of Florida.
The sailboat in the background adds to a sense of place in this historic city. The beachgoers in the foreground are left out of focus to depersonalize the subjects, with the intention of giving more of a feel to the scene rather than making it about certain individuals.
